Asus had recently introduced the Google Nexus 7 tablet officially in India but only 16 GB model was made available. Now the company announces the 32 GB WiFi only model along with a 3G Network SIM supporting Nexus 7 tablet models today.
The Nexus 7 tablet features a 7-inch touchscreen LED Backlit HD display with 1280×800 pixel resolution natively. The display features the ASUS TruVivid technology with Corning glass to provide better colour, clarity, scratch resistance and also support up to 178degrees viewing angles.
This tablet is powered by quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset paired with 1 GB RAM. The tablet also features WiFi, Bluetooth and has a 1.2 megapixel camera in the front without any camera at the back.
The 3G model will require a SIM but will not support voice calling. Packing a 4325 mAh battery, the Nexus 7 has been quite popular even in India.
The Google Nexus 7 32GB (WiFi version) is priced at Rs. 18,999 and the 32GB (3G version) costs Rs. 21,999. It is expected to go on sale from retail stores from next week.
