The spun metal pattern beneath the glass and curved edges of the back panel provides solid grip with a single hand. The dimensions of the phone are 152.59 x 77.38 x 7.69 mm and it weighs around 155 grams so it is thinner than the Zenfone 2 and almost 15 grams lighter as well.
On the left side it has the hybrid SIM tray which includes one Nano SIM and one Micro SIM slot. At the top it has 3.5 mm jack and a microphone. At the bottom you will find another microphone, USB Type-C connector and the loudspeaker.
On the rear side near the top it has a raised front camera which is covered by a sapphire crystal lens to protect it from any accidental damage. The laser auto-focus helps you to take pictures faster and lock focus less than a seconds, nevertheless the image quality is average at best. I found the images to be good, especially in bright natural light. At low light shots are average, with a increase in darker environment, noise increases. Asus ZenFone 3 front camera has a 8 MP, f/2.0, 1080p

The metallic fingerprint reader allows for rapid 360-degree fingerprint authentication from various angles and scanning accuracy just in 0.2 seconds.
After all that’s said and done, ASUS’ upcoming Zenfone 3 is one of the best phones they’ve ever produced. It’s easy to make a great looking, great performing phone, but to make one with a price tag that’s under 20K – that’s the real challenge. While ASUS hasn’t released pricing for the Zenfone 3 yet, IF they follow international pricing then there’s a lot of value to be had for the phone (it’s expected to retail at right around 16K-17K for the larger 5.5-inch variant) despite its higher street price compared to last year’s model.
